ABOUT FIM
FIM Improvisation was established in April of 2022 by Caleb Duval and Luke Rovinsky.In the 4 years since, they have independently organized over 100 bi-weekly concerts featuring more than 200 improvisers from New Haven, NYC, Providence, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles Mexico City, Tokyo, and Berlin in bookstores, warehouses, and cafes across Connecticut.
In addition to presenting musicians touring nationally and abroad, the FIM community of regular performers now includes a number of steady collaborators and established groups with distinct musical languages.
In January of 2024, Rovinsky and Duval created FIM Records.
